The 31st Annual Powder Puff Charity Classic Golf Tournament will be held
February 12, 13, and 14, 2010 at the Port Charlotte Golf Club.  Ladies of all
ages are invited to meet new people and have fun while competing in one of
the best amateur golf tournaments in Southwest Florida.  There will be many
exciting prizes valued at over $8,000.  

Tidewell Hospice is again the chosen charity recipient for this tournament.   
With your generous support last year we donated $12,100 to the good work
of Hospice.

FRIDAY, FEBRARY 12.  The Pro-Am will begin with a 12:30 shotgun start.  The
format will be two best balls of four and is limited to the first 99 entries.  You
must play in the Classic to be eligible for the Pro-Am.  A welcoming dinner
will be held in the clubhouse following the Pro-Am.  The awards for this
tournament will be announced and the 2010 Powder Puff Queen will be
crowned.

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, February 13 and 14.  The Classic will be held with
shotgun starts at 8:15 am and 1:00 pm.  Players with handicaps of 0-23 will
play at 8:15 am Saturday and 1:00 pm Sunday.   Players with handicaps of 24-
40 will play at 1:00 pm Saturday and 8:15 am Sunday.  We especially welcome
junior girls who would like to join the play.  For junior registration, please
see the enclosed Junior Division Registration Form.  All flight schedules are
subject to change and will be posted on the Port Charlotte Golf Club website,

TOURNAMENT DETAILS; The Championship Flight will play for low gross and
low net.   All other flights will play the Stableford point system.   The Classic
will be limited to the first 220 entries.   Your handicap will be determined by
your index.  All indexes are required with your application form and will be
verified.   The Junior Flight will play for low gross and will be limited to the
first 20 applications.  

Your entry fee will include lunch at the patio grill on Saturday and Sunday.  
The club lounge and snack bar will be open all three days for your
convenience.  The awards dinner will be held at the conclusion of play on
Sunday, with presentation of prizes and awards.  If you cannot attend in
person, please arrange to have someone accept your award.  We cannot mail
awards.

The enclosed “Entry Form” must be received by January 29, 2010.  Fees for
the Friday evening welcoming dinner and Sunday evening awards dinner
must be prepaid and accompany your entry form.  Because the tournament
falls on Valentine weekend we have made special arrangements for guests
at a local hotel.
